Made In Maine Horse Carts

This picture shows our cart hooked to a 16HH Hanovarian.The cart looks like it fits and the shafts don't point skyward due to our unique upcurve design for all horses taller than 15HH. See close-up on right.

Not only do we build the cart to your horses specifications , we also personalize it with a brass plaque. See picture on right for a close up.

Our shafts are formed to give the horse room to bend. We custom make each cart to your horses measurements.

We use all grade 5 hardware for safety. Our wheels and slat attaching screws are zinc coated for durability and are maintenance free. Our floor is almost twice the area of similar carts made by other manufacturers. If you don't think that is important try keeping your feet tucked under yourself for an hour or so while travelling down some country lane.

For horse, cob and pony size (miniature smaller).The seat width is 45 inches,14 inches deep and the backrest is 13 inches high. The standard seat height from floorboards is 16 inches. The frame width is 39 inches.

See how the shaft turns up then levels out.This is the only cart this style, that we know of, that incorporates this feature. A MUST for any horse larger than 15HH . Either that or a cart with a minimum 30 inch wheel

Our carts have 26 inch wheels for a smoother ride. The seat is adjustable for balance and spring loaded for your comfort.

Here is our cart with 34 inch wooden wheels. All our options for the wire wheel cart are available for this cart (with the exception of the skis). The wheels have round solid rubber tires . The seat is spring loaded and there are leaf springs between the axle and frame for an extremely comfortable ride. This is a stylish ,comfortable and rugged cart.

Here is our mini cart. The frame is 33 inches wide. The seat is 40 inches wide.We use 20 inch wheels . We incorporate all the same design features in our mini carts as we have in our horse carts. All the horse cart accessories are also available for our mini carts.
